1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using LiteRegister, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. LiteRegister is operated by Chapter Two Trading FZE, Ajman Free Zone, United Arab Emirates.

2. Who can use LiteRegister

LiteRegister is intended for use by business owners and their staff to manage sales, expenses, staff, and payments for their business. You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to create a business account.

If you create an account on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that business.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details, including your phone number and email address, secure.

Business owners are responsible for inviting and managing their staff, granting, reviewing, and removing staff access, and the accuracy of information entered by their staff.

You must provide accurate business and payment information and keep it up to date.

4. Fees and payment

LiteRegister may be offered through paid subscription plans, prepaid token or credit purchases, a free trial, or a combination of these, as described in the app.

Fees are billed or charged in advance through our designated payment provider. Pricing, billing frequency, applicable taxes, plan or balance limits, and any trial, starter-credit, or promotional terms are displayed at the time of purchase.

Where LiteRegister uses prepaid tokens or credits, their use, any expiry or lapse conditions, and any refund treatment are as described in the app and in our published token or credit policy.

Plan upgrades, downgrades, and top-ups are subject to the pricing and terms shown when you request the change or purchase.

Unless stated otherwise at purchase, cancelling a subscription takes effect at the end of the current billing period and access continues until then. Data is retained and deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

Fees may be subject to VAT or other applicable taxes. We may change our pricing or billing model, including moving between subscriptions, tokens, or other structures, with reasonable advance notice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use LiteRegister for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to access another business's data without authorization.
Interfere with or disrupt the app's operation or security.
Misrepresent sales, payment, or staff information with intent to defraud.

6. Payments processed through LiteRegister

Where LiteRegister enables QR codes, payment links, or similar payment features, payments are handled by supported third-party payment processors through the merchant account connected by the business. LiteRegister provides the interface but does not receive, hold, or control merchant funds.

The transaction is between the business and its customer. The business is responsible for its connected merchant account and for refunds, disputes, chargebacks, taxes, and compliance with the payment provider's terms and applicable law. LiteRegister is not responsible for the payment provider's approval, availability, settlement, or handling of funds.

7. Data ownership

You retain ownership of the business, sales, and customer data you enter into LiteRegister. We do not claim ownership of your business data. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle and protect this data.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep LiteRegister available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by temporary unavailability, maintenance, or failures of third-party hosting, authentication, communications, payment, or infrastructure providers.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the aggregate liability of Chapter Two Trading FZE arising out of or relating to LiteRegister will not exceed the total fees paid by you to LiteRegister — whether as subscription fees, token or credit purchases, or otherwise — during the six months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including lost revenue, profits, business opportunity, or data. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. Suspension, termination, and data

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, including for non-payment after any trial or agreed extension, or where reasonably necessary to protect LiteRegister, its users, or others. You may cancel your account at any time.

Following suspension, termination, or cancellation, access to and retention or deletion of data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where appropriate. Continued use of LiteRegister after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those Terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
